I'm like Little Red Riding Hood on the way to Grandma's house with this one -- I know the beginning and the destination, but there's a deep, dark unknown in between (although I do know Sunn O)))). I will download to get directions!

I am just trying to figure out if this is dense and cathartic or subdued and meditative. Or maybe sunshine pop. No doubt it is good stuff.

I think I'd go with dense and subdued, actually. Though I guess just plain wonderful would do, too.

My God!!! I know most of this! By the time I got to Bark Psychosis, you already had me hooked! I, too, dig that Sunn O)))/Boris compo and the match to Velvet Cacoon seems pretty much like a perfect pairing. Love the Conclusion. Mental Hi-Five!!!!

You should have just named it -- Bow To Me. The lack of accompanying comment is majesterial. Monumental is the word.

A perfectly maintained aesthetic
throughout... like something out of a deep dark dungeon. Very nice! Love that Lost Souls song... need to find more of that. Thanks for this.

incredible, Curtis. the track w/ low rumbling piano at 7.5 mins, the breathy vocal track at 14 mins and the one sounding like a loud and cloe-up recording of coat zippers at 39.5 mins are among my favorites here. a rare and wonderful listening experience.

I've just given this a listen, and while I see no reason to amend my original comment ("wonderful"), I figured I'd report back anyway: incredible, indeed. The opening three (and especially the Bark Psychosis track at that) and the whole Dead Machines -> Sunn O))) & Boris -> Velvet Cacoon -> Fear Falls Burning part (I think - I actually got a little lost towards the end, with the Sunn O))) being my last point of orientation and the transitions being too smooth to really keep track of where you're at) were probably my favourite stretches, but this whole thing is quite amazing.
