Comment:
This is an upbeat folk/pop (with a wee bit of blues 'n' country), running-out-the-door-quickie-of-a-mix. It really should be playlisted as is, as it's meant to alternate between vocal and instrumental tracks. Enjoy.Feedback:
Diggin the Penguin Cafe, Fahey, Griffin, Lucinda and Kings of Convenience tracks. Prety satisfying for a quickie.
Right up my street. Love the Lucinda Williams, Pentangle, Kings Of Covenience, Fahey in particular. Folk-a-riffic!
Oh my goodness, John Fahey is so incredibly perfect it HURTS.
Bravo for your ability to think outside the box.
looks soft and fine to me
Wonderful.
Looks quite fantastic to me, the John Fahey-Kaki King stretch in particular (although I can't help but note that you're breaking your self-imposed rule of alternating between vocal and instrumental tracks here - not that it matters to me). Quite a few things that I haven't heard and am looking forward to check out, too.
No rules broken save for the Renbourn Group, which has a little bit of vocals toward the end.
I referred to the Patty Griffin/M. Ward, actually. But it really doesn't matter now, does it?
Ah, right. *blush* ; )
tasty!!
very nice collection throughout
Well sequenced mix. Especially liking the 8 through 12 stretch.
This looks really great. I love John Fahey, M. Ward, and that KoC song. Downloading now!
Very very nice.
no bad news, indeed. love the opener, Syd Matters, Creaking Tree String Quartet in particular. and... Lucinda Williams! really had no idea I liked her, but this song is great; wonder if we're related.
