Comment:
Track two combines Gary Wilson's 'Soul Travel' with spliced up segments of Charles Amirkhanian's 'Just'. Track 4 combines Jan Hammer's 'Rico Blues' from the Miami Vice TV soundtrack with excerpts from General Douglas MacArthur's farewell address to the United States Corps of Cadets in 1962. Pitch is lowered on tracks 8, 13, and 17 (is Andrew Lloyd Webber tolerable otherwise?)
Feedback:
wow. WOW. this is a pretty awsome mix with some creativity thrown in to boot. also, your mix image is what drew me in.
Macy? Didn't we meet at the Greenwald barmitzvah? I love what you've done here by the way. Attempting to download as I write.
you have excellent taste for a cow, I must say. (in my experience, most prefer country ballads from the mid '80s.) favorites? Wild Man Fischer & Rosemary Clooney (holy cow.), Jan Hammer & Douglas MacArthur, Bergen White, Emil Richards and the Microtonal Blues Band, Grace Chang, Bent Bolt & the Nuts... my most favorite, however, is....Anh Sang.
I've got to hear this, cow or no cow.
wicked
Curses! missed this post and appear to have missed the DL too. Anyway, nice to see you're back on the boards with your customary brand of 1000-as-yet-unknown-but-interesting-looking-things. If you were to, perhaps, re-upload, I'd be massively grateful. Swapsies?
Oh baby! This is beyond teledildonic! Pass the wine this way, you polychromatic catburglar you!
Ok, it works now, so either you have kindly re-posted the link, or I was being a technologically incompetent nitwit-type person. Suspect the latter - but either way, looking forward to this a lot.
I can now report that Mr Joy by Paul Bley is my favourite of the many wonders here
