Comment:
Still spending a lot of time hanging round the late 60's / early 70's.There was a feature on a TV arts show the other night covering the "twisted folk" movement in general & Circulus in particular. It inspired me to re-visit the folk / psych / prog interface where folkies went electric, proggies went acoustic & an atmosphere of mildly halluinogenic medaeivalism hung over everything.
Here's a souivenir of what I found there.

Feedback:
looks mighty interesting.
. . . but those little brown ones are the best . . .excellent stuff (esp Dr Strangely Strange)
I'm a sucker for Folk mixes and this looks fabulous. So glad you figured out the link thingy, i'm about to give this a listen. Thanks for your words of kindness also...
Looks mighty inviting. Digging the Traffic - Soft Machine and Zeppelin - Tull runs
This is tremendously cool, my friend. You're really on a roll. I'll be downloading...
Very, very cool. You might (or might not) dig the mini-series I compiled back in September (focusing on U.K. folk/psych folk and the like). Nice to see King Crimson and Soft Machine, btw!
Any mix that includes the strawbs is AOK by me. And the brown acid wasn't so bad. You can learn a lot from a nightmare.
Splendid opener, and great Soft Machine pick.
De-lish-ussss!
yum.
