Comment:
A peruvian friend of mine showed up at the office the other day with a copy of El pafs semanal with Tom Waits on the cover. I think she picked it up for the anti-Chßvez story, but I said, "oh, Tom Waits" y me pregunt= "+y quiTn es ese Tom Waits?" so I traded her these two discs and a copy of Down by law in exchange for the magazine. Posdata: the story on the primera dama de Cuba was a premio.12-15 update

Feedback:
This looks really, really good. A wonderful distillation.
what the gnome said...
Me gustarfa escucharlo, como ignorante de la obra de Waits que soy. Any chance for an upload?
Ahh, the elusive Waits Compilation. An interesting job of selecting and sequencing, I particularly love the closing 5 on side 2. Nice keepsake in the bargain.
La portada (de EP[s]) y tu compilacion son excellentes!
the more tom the merrier.
Yeah, and it was a fun excuse to Mexicanize the title of his boxed set.
More flavourful than a mango habinero sauce, this one!
"Christmas Card" reminds me of this yankee slag with whom I attended University. She would buy her boyfriend gifts and ship them back to America; all funded with money she made giving bjs.
ZoT Jarvis's comment sounds like a great idea for Waits to make a song about. Props to you for props for Tom.
A wonderful summation of the man's work.
(a million years later)
Really neat, especially the way the sweet poignancy of the earlier stuff ble_nds with the intense emotionality and sharp satire of the later ones. Beautifully jumbled.
