Matthew Good formed the Matthew Good Band in Vancouver, in 1995, the outfit releasing their indie debut, [i]Last of the Ghetto Astronauts[/i], later that year. Good's emotional delivery, politicized lyrics, and accomplished songwriting propelled the band (and, later, his solo career), to become one of Canada's top acts, winning awards and accolades from fans and critics alike.
