Comment:
In 2005, after Blue Nun Telegraph, Ben McCormick and I collaborated on 14 weeks of shows based on (loose) themes. This show was broadly called The Leisure Hive, and the first theme I picked was 'time.' Generally, if tracks don't seems to make sense in the theme, they were probably requests. I might also mention that this first show probably isn't as good as the later ones, we were still figuring out what the show should be like.
Feedback:
aha, i see, i didn't look at this one when i commented on Leisure Hive #3. now i am the great understander. this is a real boffo mix you've got here -- props on "When You Awake", "The Fairest of the Seasons", "Eve of Destruction", "Everything Merges with the Night", "In the Year 2525", "Time and a Word"... etc. even the ones i don't know or i'm not so absolutely excited about seem to fold in nicely in the order. probably still be good to see it on a CD or three... if the time fits!
Another great selection of musical joy. You should return to the airwaves immediately and make yourself and your playlists available to all. What do you mean, you have a life. The needs of the many etc......
