Comment:
ok I'm a little bit late. Spent some time in the Swedish mountains skiing. Now the snow is melting and the life gets a little bit lighterFeedback:
Dig the Shins and Lucinda tracks, haven't heard much else here.
Nice round up as usual I got a sneaky advance of the new Dino Jr too and was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Love the Au Revoir Simone and Explosions in the Sky picks too.
A few things here I've been listening to a lot lately... Lucinda, Shins, M Ward, & Jesse Sykes. Looking to check out a few more.
Lucinda Williams is popular round these parts of late, can't say I've heard her before, praps I'll have to remedy that forthwith. Great picks re EITS and that's my fave Shins track from their latest offering. After that other than M Ward I know nothing.
I would love to be shushing down the mountain while listening to this.
Love track 7. The slow is melting away here too.
Nice! Love what I've heard of the new LCD stuff and definitely want to hear the Kristin Hersh and Explosions. Great month.
man i can't get enough of the new shins -- i just keep finding myself reaching for it, even with dozens of other albums to wade through (including the lucinda williams -- STILL!)
a terrific sampling. I've been enjoying M. Ward and the new Kristin Hersh lately, and I think I'll have to pick up that Yoko w/... disc. lots for me to explore here.
Love the Lucinda, Shins, Au Revoir, Explosions... Great round-up..
Very nice. I really, really, really love that Dinosaur record and the Lucinda record. I'm also enjoying the Shins, as well, and would like to hear the new LCD material, Kristin Hersh and Yoko.
Go p! And hail the oncoming Spring!
have spent some time skiing myself in Feb (in Dubai) . . . probably what I don't know most of this . . . . 3, 5, 13, 15 and 16 I do know however . . . . not telling which of these I dislike, however . . . . shhh !
christ I am illiterate when drinking . . . . of course that should read . . .'probably why I don't know . . .' sorry !
Alway cool to take a peek at what's been playing on your jukebox. I share your admiration for Au Revoir Simone and the Shins. Don't know much else I'm afraid.
Au RS- great. Good listening P.
Great stuff Peter.
