I've found myself with a bit of unanticipated time on my hands so what better way to fill it than ripping some vinyl favourites that haven't yet made it onto my mp3 player?

And as said procedure involves first burning the tracks onto a CDRW before transferring them to my PC, I thought I might as well present it as a mix for your delectation.

I've finally put my LPs in alphabetical order so I started working through them systematically, starting at A & limiting myself to one track per artist. So far,asw you can tell, I've managed to reach the mid-Bs. The final running order for the mix has been decided with an ear open for some kind of flow & cohesion.

As my inherent disinclination to follow the herd has led to me choosing a Creative Zen rather than an iPod when I bought a player, the files for download are in the wav format, tho' I believe they can still be opened with iTunes (I hope).

I suspect this might be the first of many.
