There have been a few without-AOTM-I'd-be-nothing mixes lately (and I did a few mixer-specific dedication mixes last year), so I thought I'd offer my thanks to all you AOTM fishes with a few mixes documenting music I'd never have included on mixes prior to finding this site. This mix (and the ones to follow) isn't made up of AOTM-specific discoveries, necessarily, but it's representative of directions in exploration I'd not have gone without AOTM.This site has given me new ears -- and a new appreciation for the limitlessness of music. I don't know if my taste has evolved or devolved over recent years, but it's surely changed and grown. Not since I discarded my acne-ridden musical tastes of youth in favour of jazz in my early university days has my mind been so blown by the music introduced by the folks here. Many, many thanks, chaps and chapettes.

I realised I almost missed this because Devolution was not televised.
listened to this the other day, and it was damn good. got lost in the music, but whatever that was w/ the strings going on at the 15 minute mark, well it made me feel real good.
