my best friends grandmother died. i wanted to make her something that memorialized her feelings about the beloved woman she knew so well--as well as cheer her up (hence the captain planet) the woman on the cover art strikingly resembles her grandmother when she was younger. the title is in memory of the spoons clattering and sugar spilling in her grandmothers nyc apartment. the five stairsteps song is the most ...healing, i suppose. and the california song is because she lives there. i know this mix wont get many comments because most cd mixes dont...but i just wnated to post it anyways because i like it.
