Comment:
Bob Dylan dedicated his last two episodes of Theme Time Radio Hour to "Trains" and "More Trains." I think I'm going to stick to one mix for the theme, at least for now. Bob played at least two songs I would otherwise have used myself: Junior Parker's "Mystery Train" and Johnny Cash's "Train of Love." Fortunately, there's more than enough great train songs to go around! The second title I've taken from "Last Thoughts on Woody Guthrie."Feedback:
Oh yes! Just reading the track listing makes me feel like I'm on the Red line at rush hour (see track 8). What an adventure. I hope all is well with you on the other side of the river.
phenomenal -- dead man posted a superb train-themed mix recently that you might wanna check into...
A nice journey. Sweet.
Train-keep a coming....
Yeah, looks like quite the journey. Nice set.
clickety clack clickety clack the train ran over the railway track . . .That was my earliest memory of words and rythmn (probably last wednesday) . . . but you're right, we all love a good train mix . . . ''keep 'em rolling'', said the Fat Controller.
another train classic
Oh, yeah. So many great train songs...
Who doesn't love train songs? Greatr one here.
Love tracks 4, 18 & 20. Reckon I'd enjoy this ride from start to finish tho..
how can I not like this one?
Nice! Really cool picks all over - makes you wonder just what it is about trains that makes them so ripe for being song subjetcs. Lovely June Carter Cash and Dolls picks in particular.
