Comment:

One of my favorite bands that I've been exploring for the past year and a half or two years (thanks, Shawn Porter!). After drowning in their records, I purchased their live DVD (The Power of Salad) and have been pretty obsessed with it ever since. Then I was fortunate enough to experience them live for the first time this week... suffice it to say that if you haven't seen them and they show up anywhere within a 5-hour radius of your town, you need to beg, borrow or steal the funds for gas and a ticket and get there immediately. There is simply nothing like the raw adrenaline of a LB show. Last tracks cut: "Mistake," "Mohawk Windmill" and "The Faire Folk."

The perennial power of salad, milkshakes and blistering headaches! I can only endure this stuff every other year or so (and then usually not for 80 minutes straight), the rest of the time I prefer to admire it in theory. But, I really do admire it in theory.

A pleasure, as always, mister. This looks fucking insanely great! Sadly, haven't had the chance to see 'em live, yet. Man, "Fleeing the Valley of Whirling Knives" for an opening track? Perfect. The opening 5 tracks fucking slay.
