Comment:

Granted a few hours to myself this afternoon(!) and decided to get this mix uploaded and posted. I'd say this is probably my most POP mix yet, certainly this year. And why not? Things are fab; baby's beautiful, better half is doing well. And me? Tired, but my word she's worth it.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words etc over the last couple of weeks :)

Tremendously cool & catchy mix, Daddy-o. Count me in on being one of its biggest admirers. Is there a link forthcoming?

Perfectly named. I concur! It's always very interesting to see a "pop" mix from a mixer with refined and expansive tastes. The results are usually quite good. This, on the other hand, is exceptional.

Gave it a spin today. Great finds by Joy Zipper and Switches, and the guitar work in "Tin Pan Alley" could put anybody in a good mood. Excellent pop, Poppa.

Oh man, I've been playing the shit out of "Barafundle" by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci especilly that song by them this past weekend. I just love that little Welsh verses at the ends. Total gibberish to me but beautiful. Anyway, pop brilliance here. Lots I love.

Looks like some grade A pop you've assembled for the masses. That new Bees (newbies?) CD is fantastic, and I'm looking forward to hearing the Lucky Soul debut. Pleased to know that everything is well in happyland :)

Sam shines his light upon us, and all's well with the world. Oh yes, with another wonder mix, all is definitely well. Ta Sam, you're "fab" too. If things continue in this vein, this could be another "treble" year... (he he).

Another great-looking mix, wish I had reached the DL in time. 17-20 is my favorite stretch here, and that Shins song works well as a closer. (I'm not religious either, really... but Kierkegaard fascinates me.)
