Agreed. One of my favorite bands ever. For a band with only three proper albums (excluding reunions and the like) they left a remarkable legacy. I tried my hand at a more complete 2-cd mix which included band members' pre- and post-Big Star work; I've also got a pretty massive Big Star Tribute mix that you might find of interest.
I never travel far, without a little Big Star. I love 'em too.
aw, i love Big Star too. "thirteen" is one of my all-time favorite songs. obviously not a single bad song on there!
