Comment:

A Link to the mp3 tracks in a zip file is on the first song title. The length of this mix is around 50.5 minutes.
Songs that were second stringers that never got used: Derek & The Dominoes' 'Layla', The Dramatics' 'In The Rain', Goose Creek Symphony's 'Oh Lord Won't You Buy Me a Mercedes Benz', Carly Simon's 'Legend In Your Own Time', Melanie's 'Nickel Song', Michel Legrand's 'Brian's Song', Santana's 'No One To Depend On', Sly & The Family Stone's ' Runnin' Away', and The Temptations' 'Take a Look Around'. The picture is of Al Green who performs a song on this mix and the prior part.

that's one hot Al Green you got there. put this on to start the work day, loved "Betcha By Golly, Wow" and was re-seduced by that Roberta Flack hit. Also loved JJ Cale, Aretha and Malo picks. my colleague said that your track 4 was one of the best songs ever recorded. thanks for sharing this slice of music history.
