Comment:

Ok here it is "Guilty pleasures 4+" It started with a dialogue by me and "Mike the pike" about stupid hard rock songs that we found amuzing, esp after a couple of drinks, Reptilebrain is not always a bad thing , Cheers

I have more guilty pleasures than I care to mention Peter. At least half a dozen are represented here. Bravo!

Cripes, I've seen 5 of these bands... (the last in 1979).

This is all good stuff. The Ram Jam track is a must for this kind of mix, and Breaking the law too for that matter.

Gotta admire your honesty Peter. & I must have shaken me long trusses (why did I cut me hair?) to at least 90% of this mix hee hee.

That Black Sabbath song is an absolute classic by an standard, as are (to a slightly lesser extent) the AC/DC, ZZ Top and Zeppelin tracks. I really like the Blue Oyster Cult, Judas Priest, Kiss and Van Halen tracks, as well, in only a slightly guilty sort of way. Really, when it comes down to it, the only things on here that I detest are the Whitesnake and Montrose songs. So, all that said, I'd pump my fist to this. :-)

yeah, i gotta admit (though unabashedly!) that lots of these are childhood favorites that i was raised on that i couldn't hold contempt for if i tried -- i like the sabbath, aerosmith, zeppelin, ac/dc, van halen, KISS & queen tracks alot so...

nostalgia ain't what it used to be, that's for sure !This is pretty much all I listened to until I was about 13 or 14 (Heart, Montrose and Van Halen, not included). I should dig some of these out again. Excellent choices for beer drinking . . . .

So you're a closet metal head, eh? I always suspected such. I can picture you in a Van Halen baseball jersey shirt with an Iron Maiden cap barely concealing a golden mullet;) Yes, this is wonderful stuff that helped me get through high school. Now where'd I put my air guitar?
