Comment:
I work in a small cafe/diner. My boss tends to play pop-country (Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, and that "She thinks my tractor's sexy" song), which I honestly CAN'T STAND!I finally got the courage to ask if I could make a mix CD to play during the day. I decided to go with a mix of classic rock, rock and roll, alt-country, and folk to fit in with the kind of restaurant it is.
I just hope my boss likes it as much as I do...
Feedback:
as much as I love rascal flatts (the only pop country i like, im more into REAL country and alt country) I love this mix. CCR, dylan and cash, neko case, zepplin. Could have used some skynyrd and ryan adams though :)
my friend just did something similar to this...except he got to buy an ipod for the restaurant & fill it full of playlists. these are the kinds of mixes that i could make for hours. nicely done! :)
A great improvement I'd say!
I'd hang out in that cafe for as long as this mix was playing, but I just have to wonder if the tractor-lovers are going to end up wearing flowers in their hair . . .
good luck with it!
good luck with it!
Whoa. . heart CCR, the Beatles and ESPECIALLY Johnny Cash. . .nice mix! :)
Great mix...something for everyone to chew on. Good luck with your boss!
Looks great, a big improvement over nonstop pop country. I'm tempted to attempt the same thing with my boss and his (sigh) smooth jazz fixation.
