Comment:
Every Monday I work late covering municipal meetings for a newspaper in Chicago's western suburbs. And the best part of my exhausting day is driving back to the city and listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage, the only two hours of radio (besides NPR) that doesn't make me want to puncture my ear drums. This tape is an homage to that show. Rock, pop, soul, girl groups, punk and R&B with little snippets of movie/TV dialogue in between. As far as this mix goes, there's no unifying theme linking all of this together, except that it all kicks ass.Feedback:
Definitely five stars on this one. I love the songs I know, and want to run and listen to the ones I don't. Oh, and ALL of the dialogue snippets are FANTASTIC (especially the ones from Diner and Annie Hall!).
Five stars also from me and nice props for Little Steven's Underground Garage and NPR.
