Comment:
you've never really lived until you've felt the gentle tickling of another man's afro against the nape of your neck as you dance back-to-back on a crowded dance floor. listen to sideone.
listen to side
two.

Feedback:
i guess i haven't lived yet then -- hopefully this mix will show me how?
Very nice, Benoit Pioulard is amazing!
good fun, esp cool to see Mi-Sex on a mix
Ha! Fun. Although I have no desire to feel another man's Afro on the nape of my neck (I have a hard enough time managing my own)...
Covering some interesting (and varied) ground once again.
Brilliant! [ZoT]
Breeders and Throwing Muses - perfect together.
Fine fine Romeo music for a crowded dance floor! Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair, you're going to meet some gentle people there . . .
You made me smile again tZ.
You made me smile also. Good ol' Billy Joel eh? Fine tracks by Engineers, Evelyn King, Benoet Pioulard and The Doodle Town Pipers. Oh, and it appears I've never really lived also. Must rectify that...
This is my Afro-pick of the week. Love that Throwing Muses jam (an underground break dancing classic) and the grooves of the funkiest white chick alive -- of course I'm talkin' about Claudine "Thug Life" Longet. And the Doodle Town Pipers? Scary as fuck! Great mix.
Oh man, just reading this play list makes me want to get up and shake my groove thang. I'm so happy you included the Five Keys.
Wow, crazy mix... so many odd transisitions (Madonna into Lee Hazlewood?!) but it works real well. I'm gonna have to look into Benoet Pioulard... "Together & Down" is great.
I wholeheartedly agree with your contention, although I find it's even better being sandwiched between two afros, especially if they're of Ghanian descent.Oh, and Juice Newton is my hero.
Lovely. Great work!
