Comment:

Movies & TV shows featuring: Rod Steiger, Rita Tushingham, Carrol Baker, James Mason, Steve McQueen, Natalie Wood, George Peppard, Audrey Hepburn, David Jansen, Ann Francis, Claudia Cardinale, Sean Connery, Jane Fonda, Tony Curtis, Charles Aznavour etc.

Note: there seems to be 2 recordings of The Connection available - I'm not sure if either recording is the actual soundtrack of the movie or the stage play on which it was based. I'm afraid I have to blame the sleeve notes. Anyway, I've chosen the french recording over the US recording for the sake of track length. All tracks credited as OST are straight from the original soundtracks, everything else is from various compilations - most of which are from the OST. I suspect all of these tracks are readily downloaded from your nearest download station. Downloaders, no doubt, would make a more concise job than me and be able to fill the gaping holes in my soundtrack collection

How many words are there for "brilliant," "sublime," and "near genius?"

How is it possible that these things keep getting even better? cover is elegant and sassy, and the list of music and films here is staggeringly good. of the ones I know, I especially like music from "Walk on the Wild Side," "The Misfits," "Lolita" and "Juliet of the Spirits." There's a 1961 film called Paris Blues that I saw in a series of jazz films at the Salt Lake City, UT public library in the mid '90s. you should check it out if you haven't already. Sidney Poitier and Paul Newman are struggling American jazz musicians in the Paris jazz scene of the early '60s. the music is by Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong co-stars as Wild Man Moore.
