How strange. I think the ladies in the picture are the same ones that hang out at my bar. Love the Sonny Rollins & The Hold Steady.
Oh the third camel from the left is a pretty one! I remember The Meridean well - we must have been off colour then eh if I can remember it? Bloody hell Gobi, yer on a roll now.Neneh at Glastonbury '97 still = one of my best ever musical experiences.
This looks like a good 'un, my friend. Think of me suffering in Pittsburgh when you're having a cold one. ;-)
Guessing that's in Greenwich?Gal Costa and Gruff Rhys always do it for me.
I know The Royal Meridean. It's round the corner... of the globe. I was also at Glasto '97 ( whadda mudfest ) but I don't recall seeing Neneh, love that tune tho.. A few covers on here if I'm not mistaken? Looks fab.
the name of the band on track 7 alone is enough to intrigue me -- nevermind the 20 other songs
Brilliant! 16-18 really caught my attention.
This looks crazy hot. I dig that Bjork/Harvey combo.
Great stuff, esp Neneh and Sophia - Bjork and Ms Harvey should go get together in the studio methinks...
Is this an all covers mix? Anyway, looks truly exceptional. The cover makes me want to have a smoke.
The Plant, Rollins, Hold Steady and BH Surfers tracks are highlights for me.
Language Gobi! Tut tut. I dig the Neneh in a big way as well as your closing 4. They let you play your own mixes? I ran a bar once and wasn't even allowed that perk. I raise a glass in admiration matey.
Excellent drinking and chillin' music.
I am driftin', mate.
Lee Moses! Elis Regina! This will get the camels parading in fine style.
Those who know me, will assure you of my admiration for both Bjork and Ms. Harvey. However, they do not cover themselves in glory on this track. The rest of the mix is groovy with a few showers. I'm sure the view is nice, Mr. Gobi, but, but, but, oh what's the point, you obviously like it there....to each his own.
Holy crap, this is crazy. Hats off!
Zoo Be Zoo Be Zoo, indeed. cool mix - or hot, maybe. also dig the Belly and Red House Painters you've put on here.
Nice mix. I'm feeling this for sure.
Amen to the title amigo..., and we don't see enough We've got a fuzzbox and we're gonna use it 'round here! (I'm gonna' ditto the Mighty Moe, too.)
Nicely done.
Love the 17-21 stretch. I just hope and pray you don't support the camel racing industry.
mm looks very nice, can't understand I missed it before
