I wanted the feel of the Old West, a lone singer and their acoustic guitar, something for a cowboy to listen to while drinking their whiskey and sitting in the back of the saloon thinking of regrets and what-might-have-been's.

Neat modern approach to your theme. Lots of lovely pensive classics on here. The title cut is definitely the highlight - I never would've thought of it in this context you describe, but that's kinda always the way I felt it, so way to grasp that.
