Comment:

A goodbye mix to a friend who doesn't like anything that hasn't come out of 1991. Talya, I will miss you.

WTF? 1991? Well, even though you're saying goodbye, hopefully this mix will get through to the person. It's stuffed with some of the earwormiest indie pop on the market today. Really, I can't tell you how spoiled this friend of yours is getting a mix that combines the powers of Of Montreal (the best song of "Satanic Panic"), Boy Least Likely to (their melodious "hit"), Jens Lekman (his best song), The Decemberists (my fave off "Crane Wife"), Dressy Bessy (classic), Rilo Kiley (another best-of), B&S, Magnetic Fields, Devendra, Feist, sheesh I just listed the whole thing! Not even to mention the older stuff - I like the idea of Big Star and The Smiths sharing space. This is a sampler of great music that should expand even the most narrow of minds. You know from good music

I quite like the indie side of this.

This is a great mix. Mike Eternity said it WAY better than I could, so I'm going to leave it at that. If your friend doesn't like this, I'll eat an entire spindle of blank cds.
