what i know & love, & don't know but am interested in, are pretty much in equal measure here - you never fail to intrigue
This is oh so good.
Champaign !! and how on Earth did you dig up that photo of me from my 1982 mid-summer trip to Amsterdam? god, I loved those shorts.
Tighter than them shorts. I've been blessed with two of your mixes this week.
Great tunes, I LOVE that Don Cherry track. The photo disturbs me for some reason.
This is fruggin' great. I'm with Mark on both the Don Cherry tune and that photo.
There is no equal. Nuff said.
Ms Orchid, your mixes are quite simply fab-tastic. I never got to download the last 2 which made me sad but, with both my girls sleeping I'm going to hit play on this mix & no doubt enjoy every second. Following that I'm going to try and emulate your good self and make an Orchidish mix. I can but try...
Orchid girl you made my day (to quote Roddy Frame). Haven't DLed it yet, but I know it's gonna be cool. I'm already nuts about that opener, so I'm sure the rest will have me dancing with my 80-year-old neighbor. Yes the cover is disturbing. Are you sure it wasn't altered? The head on the left doesn't seem to belong to the rest of the body. And that Jose Cuervo t-shirt is to die for!
I'm staring in awe at the photo and the great-lookin' mix...
Packing my bags. Another splendid mix. Love the Pearls through Unlimited Orchestra especially and the Marissa Nadler track really especially. TornadoZ sure is cute isn't he? Not enough cuffed shorts in this world IMOH.
Bravo on the Nadler and Lee Harris seems to be a foreshadowing, eh Orchid?
it's a well-kept secret that no music in this entire world is more experimental than the music of Johnny Mathis. I'm not kidding. "Hump Dance," "The Love That a Woman Should Give to a Man" and "Night In London" is an inspired trio, the Don Cherry is... well, you know what it is. and the two at the end are just perfect, Orchid. and Curtis, stop throwing yourself at me.
A mix of geniune pleasures!
Swinging strange & experimental: yet another exotic orchid!
I hope I haven't procrastinatiously missed my chance to download this goodie!
