I've compiled the B-sides, demos, covers, and live tracks released by Oasis in the Be Here Now era (1997). They are culled from the UK singles D'You Know What I Mean?, Stand By Me, and All Around The World, as well as the Japanese single for Don't Go Away. This compilation reveals the declining productivity of Noel Gallagher's songwriting - as the first two albums contained a wealth of additional original B-sides, whereas this compilation comes to only 10 tracks with 2 covers and a live track included. We also see Liam taking less interest in the band with his decreasing participation in recording vocals for the B-sides. Despite all of this, the songs are still good, though they feature they some overblown production as the Be Here Now album did. There are some gems, and Noel continues to become more confident as a singer. Also, Liam's voice was arguably never in better form than it was around 1997.
