So, Ash and I were going to trade mix CDs the other day, and she had whipped up a couple of burned copies of Palomar CDs for me too. So since I had a couple of free hours before she was gonna come into my video store to make the trade, I whipped up a bonus mix for her, using mostly song I knew had worked well on other mixes and songs I had been wanting to use on mixes lately but hadn't found the chance. It turned out pretty well, given the haste involved, though I told her she wasn't allowed to like it as much as the one I had worked on for much longer and had waited much longer to give her. Interesting coincidence, I threw in the Pavement cover (which is a fucking great one) as a hidden track, and as it turned out, her mix to me had a cover of a Pavement song too. Also, this is the first mix CD ever for which I provided a hand-written tracklist because, as I found after finishing the mix, I did not have a working printer. Not the best presentation, but hopefully it was all legible at least.
