Comment:
I made this last night when I was really depressed over my lack of... well, girlfriend(s). It's a nightmare. I used to not care at all, but now it's beginning to get to me. College and no girlfirend. Le Sigh. :'(Anyway, I tried to make this flow as well as possible. I feel mildly accomplished that I didn't use an Elliott Smith track, but as it says, this is disc 1. I will use him on disc 2 (there is no probably there. The title is from the Foo Fighters track. 4/20/02 is a hidden track on Lost Dogs after the song Bee Girl. Yeah, I know there are some staples on this, but disc two will probably consist of more of an old and new feel. Maybe, dunno yet. That is all.
Feedback:
Oh, I bet you'd love Joe Cocker's cover of "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window". To be perfectly honest, I didn't give the Beatles version a chance until I'd heard the wonderfulness of Joe Cocker's version.
My original comment was deleted by way of not being logged in, but I told you all about the time when my friend's dad had a familiar song playing and once Michael Stipe started singing, I finally realized it was "Drive" and went up and talked to him for a little while about music. he'd made a mix CD, and for whatever reason (he's Cuban - this was the only English song on the CD!) he loved this song and put it on there.
Cheer up, buddy. You're 20, you have your whole life ahead of you. I promise, no matter what your brain might be telling you right now.
...I only promise if you tell me that if I post a mix about being depressed ;)
