Besides Sun Ra I know nothing-and I am not familiar that Sun Ra track. Therefore it is an official Curtis Burns mix.

Very cool. I, too, am quite fond of that Janek Schaefer/Philip Jeck album.

It appears young Mr Burns is in a very productive period. This is classy, very classy indeed.

thanks for the feedback on my mix! i'm always so intimidated by these things you make because i don't know what to expect and don't know many of the artists... maybe i'll give this a try.

Ha! I know Sun Ra and DJ Spooky (but neither song) so I am no longer the most clueless! (but still prominent amongst them).

Nice.
Torn's "Prezens", IMO, is one of the year's top releases.

A black hole, like P says. Does it sound like a black hole too?

Nice Larry Young pick. (((What's with band names and parentheses these days?)))

Well I know all 15 tracks here, so that make me the clear winner...
Okay, I have actually now listened to the mix but, erm, anyway. Fine mix. Intense in places, beautiful in others. Genius throughout...

might be one of my favorites of yours, which is saying a lot. great opener, loved the track at 18:30, the one w/ amazing organ at 27:00 and the moody piece playing at 48:30. clue me in! excellent atmosphere and mood-shifting throughout. great work, curtis!
