Comment:
For my beloved SwankQueen (mix #13!) in honor of our first anniversary this coming week. Thanks to Barrydali for the Broken Family Band track. Title by Mr. Parker.Feedback:
Sweet opener and nothin' says lovin' like some Beefheart boogie. Congrats to both of you.
Hey there, mister. Glad to see that you and the SwankQueen are doing well. This mix looks fuckin' top-notch, as usual. Very nice.
a fitting anniversary mix with some truly stunning & sincere tracks all around - terrific stuff, rob - stay out of trouble, you crazy kids
Makes you want to feel, makes you want to try-doesn't it.
Great soundtrack for you lovebirds. That Sam & Dave track is heartfelt.
Congratulations! Lots of great selections here.
You are of course welcome to the BFB tune, It's funny because I think they are the most underrated band around right now so it's cool to see them in this context. The mix itself is terrific and I raise my glass to another year and another,

Thanks ever so much for the lucky 13 -- too bad my reciprocal is still in the works. Long live Timber Timbre!!!
Wonderful. Love the Captain Beefheart through Sam & Dave bit especially. Congratulations.
great, love most of it
Lovely mix!!! Congrats!
Ah, the muse continues to inspire. A year already? Amazing, congrats. The Skynard through Dylan is a lovely run.
Very nice (the mix & the sentiment). Having a relationship with someone who appreciates "Purr" as the romantic song that it is is something to be savored.
booglarize her then . . . . and enjoy yourselves ! Funnily enough have just used that on a mix myself . . . 4 through 15 is amazing (I can even put up with 7). Good job . . .
Funnily enough, in direct contrast to me mate in the desert's previous comment, I'd say 15- 21 is the best stretch! Happy anniversary you 2.
13 mixes in a year, that's just over one a month! Lucky SQ!
anniversary mixes always bring a tear to my eye ... *sniff*
congratulations to you both !
congratulations to you both !
cool mix! congrats to you both from me.
This has f-l-o-w!
Happy Anniversary Rob & SW. 13 mixes in 12 months? Which month did she get 2?
Great mix throughout, nice 13-14 pairing....

So have CDs replaced paper as the thing to give on the first anniversary? Any mix that includes the Splits, Skynyrd and the Chain is worth celebrating.
Wow, congratulations to the two of you!
I believe I've gone on record before as being not the biggest fan ever of the concept of the "romantic" mix in general, but of course it's hard to find anything wrong with this particular specimen. Good work!

Excellent picks throughout. Love the mix, Rob.
So fuckin' cool.
Nothing says "romance" like Don Van Vliet! I particularly love the 1-21 stretch, but highlights are 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 (of course), 20, and 21.
