Comment:
Back in the late eighties Steve Earle cut a track backed by the Pogues. He followed that a few years later by playing a live traditional irish song he learned off a Waterboys album. There's really only two types of music that use the fiddle, and they only distant cousins to each other. Full version for download off of the first track.
Feedback:
If more music utilized the fiddle, the world and its music listeners would be a happier place. That OCMS song has haunted me for the last 4 years or so ever since I first heard it...it's just so perfectly done. The songs here match one another really well, making for pretty much one long smooth transition from begin to end. I can almost smell the gorgeous backwoods flavor rising off this
P.S. Great cover art
I expected to see Lonnie Donegan here given the title, still a great mix though.
