Comment:
Back in the late eighties Steve Earle cut a track backed by the Pogues. He followed that a few years later by playing a live traditional irish song he learned off a Waterboys album. There's really only two types of music that use the fiddle, and they only distant cousins to each other. Full version for download off of the first track.Feedback:
If more music utilized the fiddle, the world and its music listeners would be a happier place. That OCMS song has haunted me for the last 4 years or so ever since I first heard it...it's just so perfectly done. The songs here match one another really well, making for pretty much one long smooth transition from begin to end. I can almost smell the gorgeous backwoods flavor rising off this
P.S. Great cover art
I expected to see Lonnie Donegan here given the title, still a great mix though.
