Comment:

With the newest Wilco release finally in-hand, here's my belated update, dedicated to one of the finest artists of the past decade. Hardest choices for me were figuring out what to take from 1999's Summer Teeth, one of my favorite albums ever (though I'm probably in the minority among Wilco fans on that one). Thought about mixing in some live Wilco & Tweedy as well, but there are just way too many essential studio tracks to cut this any further. So here you go.

i wouldn't say you're too alone on the summer teeth appreciation - it's a terrific album, as is this mix - "i'm the man who loves you" is one of my favorite songs of the past decade. great work

Can't say as I'm a huge fan of everything here....I'm in the "ho-hum" camp when it comes to most of "Summer Teeth" and "A Ghost Is Born," but you did put together some great tracks from throughout his career. Love the Golden Smog tunes and, I agree with Anthony, "I'm The Man..." is a brilliant song.

Nice. I'm not so much a Summerteeth guy, but I thought *I* was in the minority there. I do love Wilco, however, and love Tweedy in general... and you scooped me on updating your double-disc mix, as I was planning on doing so within the next week.

I can't wait to put all of this together. I only own one Wilco album ("Being There"), and have been digging into Jeff Tweedy's music before and after that. This will certainly help me out!

Summerteeth is definitely my favorite Wilco album. I would have a hell of a time choosing the best. Great choices from Being There, also.

My girlfriend's favorite band and I'm definitely warming up to them. I love the new album.
