Comment:

I made The Musical for my friend, B Baran, using a program called Cool Edit Pro. It's a project I worked on for about half a year, a blend of many artists and genres that any fan of music will enjoy. Rap acapellas are a huge aspect of the mix, used on top of rock samples (ie 'Dear Biggie' within 'Baran's New Intro' is a sample of Ryan Adams' 'Dear Chicago' with The Notorious B.I.G.'s first verse of 'Juicy' mixed in). On track 3, 'HateCellGarageLove', I used/made loops of Beck's 'Cellphones Dead' and Weezer's 'In The Garage' and timed acapellas from 50 Cent and Nas to flow well over the beat. Listeners/Fans of the mix called it "the single." Each track is an intricate adventure.
