This is my contribution to a CD swap with some fellow posters on a internet forum I use. If you've never taken part in a similar swap, the rules are simple. Decide on a cut off date for when contributions have to be in by, confirm the number of participants, burn X number of CDs - one for each participant (excluding yourself of course), mail discs to the elected co-ordinator with postage costs for the return package, sit back and wait for your set of CDs to arrive. For example, if including you, there's ten participants you'll receive nine different CDs. Try it. Organised right it can be brilliant and open you up to a whole world of music you may not have heard before. Love them or hate them, at the very least you'll get a new set of coasters out of it!
