Comment:

60 minutes; for stephen. he proposed two years ago (13june2005) and our year and a half mark of being married is coming up (30june2007). i make him mixes of indie love shit all the time, but he never understands them the way he understands a solid punk rock song, hence lots of pop and skate punk here.

dude, you got the Ghoulies on here! My hero! That's my one big underrated band. All the other artists I like have been co-opted and mass-accepted, but the Ghoulies still seem like they need my support (well not anymore since they broke up, alas). So good show here! I get what your husband's all about - I can spend months and years buried in piles of indie music, but sometimes going back to a simple punk song can just transcend everything, in a way. Kudos on the Unwritten Law ballad (still my fave of theirs), Screeching Weasel cut from their essential album, Jawbreaker, the most memory-laden and hence greatest Blink song in my book, Green Day, NOFX, it's all good

That communique track is the shit. Yes, I did go to Liseberg and saw the rabbits. Also at Liseberg I saw Leonard Cohen's handprints (what was he doing there?) and listened to an orchestral version of 'It's a Sin' by the Pet Shop Boys on the river rapids ride.
