I absolutely love that Von Sudenfed track and I'm pleased as punch to see Tim Fite represented. 2-6 also hits me like a cannon!
This whole mix hits me like a Sack of Spuds. Great stuff. I'm with Barry on that 2-6. Loving the 15-17 run as well. They tried to make me listen to a CB mix. I said YES YES YES!!
You've made me want to listen to Lust for Life . . . . now . . . . Immediately . . . . at 05.22am !Great stuff here, and a whole stack of stuff I know, which is not normal. 2 - 6 is indeed the bizz!
this mix hits me like a bag of nails
hey, barry & sammy already took the good ones - sue me

Burns the Obscure surfacing with a mix we mere mortals have a clue about, content-wise. Viva Greg Ashley!
Ahh, now I don't have to make a choice regarding my daily listening session. Gracias!!! And, Yes!? Sweet.
I saw Tim Fite open for Porter Wagoner. I don't think most of the folks there really got it. But I'm looking for more of that stuff. Really, what they all said ...
I'm with valis. Thank you Curtis.
An Curtis mix that I'm over a 50/50 recognition rate? (2nd in a row if I'm not mistaken.) Abducted by Aliens maybe? 8-11 and 15-17 crank me up.
Adore the opener and closer and it doesn't stop there - steps back in amazement, as the reality that I know just about all of this mix sinks in! Mark E smith at his best on track #14. Too late to stay up and d/l tonight but I'll be fixing that the morrow, merci Curtis.
This is fantastic, particularly the more conventional picks--Beatles, Pixies, SY, Amy, and that Smith side project.
Lovin' The Beatles (duh!), The Pixies and Amy Crackhouse!
Thanks for the link. Reckon I'll give it a spin on the road to Hastings tonight
Another winner. Specially fond of the opening songs.
is it really the real Curtis Burns who made this ;)
nice stuff alla round

this mix hits me like a satchel of adjustable spanners
Lovely work, Burns. Had forgotten about that dreamy yes song. From 90120, right? Amused by the Amy Winehouse crack, joker und thief.
Wonderful mix. Flowed real well. Digging 2, 4, 6, 8 and 14 especially.
Looks REALLY great, nice use of the Turtles track!
I'll take some Of Montreal any day - that was a kickass EP. Turtles seems out of left field, but I listened to it and it fits in pretty okay, and is a good song that I've never heard before besides, so aces!
another from the archives. loved the Alex Delivery opener, then the Greg Ashley, Iggy Pop and Of Montreal in particular. and of course old favorites by The Beatles, The Pixies and Yes. I'm getting caught up, Curtis. hope you'll be posting some new mixes soon...
