A mix of live performances that I'd videotaped over the years. The title comes from "Basted in Blood". "New Kids on the Block" were played by Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Mike Myers, Jason Priestly, and Dana Carvey. "Jesse Jackson" is Aries Spears and his little sister "Britney" was Nicole Sullivan. Cinder Calhoun was Ana Gasteyer. When I listen to this mix, I wish that I could see Eminem flipping off the crowd, Jon Davis rolling around in a puddle of his own sweat, the New Kids' slick choreography, and the looks on the faces of the scared white guys in the front row of the Tonight Show audience as Nelly rapped into their nostrils. In do, however, get to hear Chino Moreno sing the wrong lyrics to a Steve Miller classic ("condiments of love"?), plus I get to hear Nirvana, the night before "Nevermind" hit number 1, and the world changed forever.
