My friend Dennis is a bit obsessed with sharks, and of course is trying to indoctrinate his 8 week old son Lel to be the same. So I offered to make a mix to help. Any favorite shark songs would be appreciated! Upload is swimming your way...Enjoy! Footnote: "Moj Sharki" unfortunately does not translate into "My Sharky" in Albanian. Shark in Albanian appears to be peshkaqen.

The first track that came to mind was 'Shark' by Throwing Muses but I see that's there. How about 'Sharks Patrol These Waters' by Morphine or anything by Feargal Sharkey? Glad I'm in first with that one!
This looks like a lot of fun, I love the theme. Ever since I watched the "Jaws" series constantly as a young child I've been obsessed, too, but in a "they scare the crap out of me and that's kind of exciting" way, not scientifically or anything. I can't think of any decent suggestions, sadly, although you could use that "My Head is Like a Shark Fin" song that LL Cool J did over the end credits of "Deep Blue Sea", but that may be the worst song ever made, so I wouldn't officially advise it...

Great theme. The kid will love it. When my oldest was little he loved the National Geographic video about sharks, but it did not have this cool a soundtrack. Awesome work, but don't leave us in suspense; what does Moj Sharki mean?

This mix has some bite! Plenty of excellent shark-related songs. The Surf Punks had a minor hit with the song Shark Attack -- "Shark attack, shark attack. Get out of the water and don't look back!" And I agree that "Mac the Knife" would be a welcome addition.
A good looking mix. Nice theme. A quick scan revealed Starsailor's Shark Food, Celestial Season's Sharks and Razors and the band Sharks and Minnows in my collection.

oh please, not another shark-themed mix... just kidding. gangsta! this is a fine set; I feel so predictable, but I also loved the opener/closer set. also dug the 5-9 run and the crazy Randy Kaplan tune. that Throwing Muses CD is one of my favorites, partly because of that awesome hidden track, so glad you kept that in there. well done. and now one about the porpoise, please!
