Comment:
So for ten days now, I find myself staying up late, watching my beloved Toronto Blue Jays play win-one/lose-one while out on the west coast. I'm not sure why I tune in every night...not like they're on a winning streak or anything, but I watch...and in my late-night solitude start humming some of the songs on this playlist in my head. I've tried to make this a decent mash-up of new tracks (Rufus, Kaiser Chiefs) and old favorites (Queen, Al Green), with some recent concert memories thrown in for good measure (Arcade Fire, Dresden Dolls). So the next time you're flipping channels after 10:30 and you happen to see Dustin McGowna throwing a gem...or Vernon Wells hitting one deep, cue this mix up and watch for the eigth inning collapse. Cheers! -famous.
Feedback:
looks excellent. i am betting that this mix is greater than the sum of its parts, unlike the blue jays.
I like (the Yankees)this mix.
Glad one of our teams is winning a few! Nice mix, homeslice!
Not knowing some of the tunes on this one, I can't give it a final grade, however, you've avoided a lot of the acts atht would usually bring my wrath.
Although I'd like to see you explore some artists a bit further (Kooks, Smiths, Queen and Arcade Fire have lots more hidden gems than the admittedly good tracks you pulled) I really can't fault you for their inclusion.
That said, I LOVE the ending combination of Green and Feist, particularly the chosen tracks.
