120 minutes; for jumpy. my boss frequently asks me to play office dj, and when i ask what he wants to listen to, he always replies with "eighties! yeah!" this reply is typical, considering he graduated in the late 80's from san diego state university (otherwise known as stdsu). as a result, i've decided to make a series of mixes of what i believe are the best of the eighties, excluding most 80's punk rock, since that is an entirely different genre of its own. download available here.

ps i realize that some songs were recorded in the 70's but i'm pretty sure that all of these were released, or at least popularized, in the 80's (for example, warren zevon's track was released in 1978 but in my limited conscious recollection of living during the 80's, it's a song that was played often enough to count).

That's funny, I never think of TMBG when doing '80s mixes, I guess 'cuz they didn't have any outsized hits, but they do technically belong. Nice full-bodied assortment
