joy division became new order. ian mckaye from minor threat started fugazi, the dude from jawbreaker founded jets to brazil, former descendents became all... do i get a cookie?

oooohhh stunna! you are absolutely correct; all of the bands on the right side were the precursors to the bands on the left side. and arguably all of the bands on the right side are far superior (although i do prefer new order, fugazi and lawrence arms to their former lineups).

Cool idea for a mix, and I agree that, besides Fugazi and New Order, the "non-adult" bands were better (though I'm not familiar with The Broadways and Glassjaw tandems).

ps that was dumb. in my last comment i mixed up my right and left. what i meant to say was "all of the bands on the left side were the precursors to the bands on the right side". obviously i paid attention in kindergarten.
