Comment:
For my friend Joe, as he and his family move to Nashville. I also dubbed him a copy of Trashville, which IM[not so]HO is one of the best mixes up here, period (as Rafael Palmeiro said) and which also explains the exclusion of quite a few worthy choices to avoid too much overlap.I now have the upload here.

Feedback:
i live in tennessee and i couldn't have done it better. highlights for me include berry. hiatt, mott, roseanne cash, and especially the ever loving spoonful doing nashville cats.
Wow. It would be pretty tough for any other state to hold up to this in terms of classic folkiness. Damn!
Wow! This is the kind of mix I aspire to make. It's not just that almost every band is superb and the cuts I recognize equally so, but the way they look together. Granted I'm not listening to them so I can't exactly vouch for transitions or whatever, but you can just tell when you see a group of artists compiled for a certain reason and how they must complement each other so perfectly...this looks really fantastic. Nothing though from the movie "Nashville"?
what a fascinating piece of the country. Carter Family, Elvis, Patti Page, Guy Clark... this looks tops.
Excellent! Always amazed at how many great songs are written about Memphis.
just finishing up listening to this little monster. terrific stuff here, doowad. loved the Chieftains, Louis Armstrong and Ramblin' Red Lowery tracks from side one, and that Patti Page version of "Tennessee Waltz" on side two has long been a favorite.
