Comment:
Egypt. The first great civilisation and a screen on which apparently anyone can project their dreams & desires. For us Brits, it was one of the jewels of empire and the site of one our greatest naval victories. For Black America, a source of pride and an example of what African culture could and will achieve. For Hippies, a repository of esoteric knowledge. For the bouroisie, another source of exotica to help brighten their jaded lives. Hardly surprising it's a place and idea Rock & Roll & Jazz return to on a regular basis. This is just the tip of the pyramid.available to download here:

Love a good exotic theme mix. Lots of heavy hitters here. Can't help thinking of Steve Martin.
I like-to-love a ton of these tracks, particularly the Pink Floyd, Fotheringay, Ornette, Alice, Sun Ra, and RT picks.
I visited Egypt 2 years ago and I have to say it is a wonderful country. Sailing down the banks of the Nile was just wonderful. Glad I didn't fall in tho. Great mix. SG
What no Bangles? Great mix!
