Comment:

This is my take on the 13th episode of Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour, "Rich Man Poor Man." Dylan used a few songs I might otherwise have included here: Bing Crosby singing "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime," Woody Guthrie's "Do Re Mi," and Tom Waits' "On the Nickle." Not too surprisingly, I had a lot easier time finding songs in my collection about being poor rather than rich. Title is from Dylan's song "When You Gonna Wake Up?" on the "Slow Train Coming" album.
