Comment:
By definition, a government has no conscience. Sometimes it has a policy, but nothing more.
-Albert Camus
I was listening to the Erase Errata track when I got the idea for this one. I originally wanted to do a mix all about taxes and money, but the lyric that I used for the title (from the Erase Errata track) lead me to take this mix in a slightly different direction.
I'm sure everyone has their own opinion of the state of the world, and this is part of mine. There's probably hundreds of songs that I could've stuck somewhere in this list, but these are the ones that really hit home for me.
When I despair,
I remember that all through history
the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers,
and for a time they can seem invincible,
but in the end they always fall.
Think of it--always."
-Gandhi

Feedback:
My own would probably have to in include Taxman, Mr Thief by Cheap Trick, Your Time Is Gonna Come by Led Zepplin, Anarchy In The UK by The Sex Pistols, with lots n lots of Jello (always room for Jello!) doing his spoken word.
I saw Jello do some spoken word a few months ago, and it was just as amazing as I hoped it would be if not more.
Nice mix ginatron...that Pink Floyd track is one of my favorites of theirs, and I love the Patti, Cure, REM and Sam Cooke!
"For What It's Worth", I like this mix.
Hell yeah.
remarkable
Regarding 14 and 15, let's hope so! Good stuff!
Jello speaks the truth.
This is always the state of the world from a governmental perspective, sadly. At least great music is born from it.
