Comment:

I think I've been spending too much time at the movies these days, since many of these tracks relate back to all sorts of new flicks...(ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, THE DARJEELING LIMITED, ONCE) and old flicks... (EMPIRE RECORDS, DIRTY DANCING). And as usual, I've worked in a lot of the new songs I can't stop spinning ("Moneymaker" should easily work its way into my top five of the year). As for the title, what can I say? I'm really starting to take a liking to Mr. Colbert's show, and hope that he wins an Emmy next month and doesn't suffer a humiliating defeat to Barry Manilow again. Cheers! -Famous.

Sweet! Spoon, Lou and the 97's are all great tracks among others. AND a shout out to a classic Swayze flick? He's da man! You've gotta figure out how to make mention of him or one of his classic movies in every post! Ha ha - great mix buddy!

not too shabby at all. Just stop relying on that g.d. subpar stripes album, it's bringing you down.

Otherwise solid, filled with old faves (GNR, hawks) recent resurrections (burke, beatles) and some that have lived in permanent rotation on my iPod for months (cold war, tengo... got that? Yo La TENGO!... it's called research).

good overall.
