really cool stuff, Michael. don't think I'd heard any of these songs before. Freestyle Fellowship is probably my favorite here, but loved the Lionel Hampton, Wong Ling, Susan Cadogan, Cortijo and Roland Brival tracks a lot. a wonderful tribute.

I'm very grateful, both to yourself for the dedication and to everyone else for their kind words. After a couple of listens I declare this to be a work of art. Loved it. Too many favourites to list but if I had to, my favourite 5 would be the Gilberto Gil, Jorge Ben, Los Babys, Penny Goodwin and the excellent Joe Bataan closer.
Cheers again. Now if you do one for the other gangster he's gonna have to come up with two for us :)
