Comment:

Millhouse was the unfortunate and unwanted nickname of my roommate and later best man at my wedding (padrino de anillos). I made him a birthday CD a couple years ago called Millhouse 1, theoretically to help refresh his long-backbrained Tapatfo and Tico Spanish.
Unfortunately, the series died there, or so I thought until I actually got a request for the old warhorse recently. Since that original version was done on Roxio on my ex-PC at work, it had long been lost to the dustbins. As I started to throw the songs together, I didn't really feel that connected to the old mix, plus our collection of Spanish pop/rock has grown exponentially since then. And since it was a near-dead mix, I was able to rebuild it. Better. Stronger. Faster.
Basically just an overview of what has been popular in the Spanish-speaking world over the last two decades or so (except for tal Javier Mendoza, who would be as popular as any of these artistas with the right connections). I avoided overtly fresa selections, such as Manß, Shakira, Juanes, etc., though yes I have Julieta con las cejas depiladas, Arjona y otros no tan culfsimos. And the beast eventually grew to one for each mill=n de lana yanqui. As with most of my mixes, I take the Ricky Nelson approach (i.e. you can't please everyone, so you gotta please yourself). For Disks 1-3, click here.

I'm going to leave my comment on this edition since it doesn't have one yet, and because this is my favorite picture of the three. it looks like something from one of the great video covers on the movies I sometimes rent at the local Mexican supermarket. a really incredible set here, I'd love to hear it. es possible?
