Comment:

Originally intended for Moe, it soon became apparent that Michael & Alex (all three of them! ) would love this. Many tracks would be right up Barry's street. The Edwin Moses pick would delight Orchid, Cliff would praise the Sidonie choice and the lovers of 60's flower power would be happy with the Warm Sounds classic.
Initially I raved about this being my best mix yet, this maybe appeared cocky, which was not my intention. I guess I just wanted people to listen to it, as at the moment this is my favourite mix. There, that's better :)

This looks tremdendous, my friend. Although I could do without ever hearing "Cherish" again, I'm sure this is fantastic (I know that Sagittarius song sure is)....

Well. I, for one, hate this. So, there.Not even a smidgen of unlistenable-noisy-avant--glitch-doom post-proto-world-fusion to be found. Far to listenable and immediately enjoyable. Yeesh. I guess if your intent was to make a mix people would enjoy...then...well, fine! Shazam. Congrats, you've done it. But, to reiterate, where's the moment of irritation and annoyance? Now, THAT'S the mark of a fine mix.Btw, this is fantastic...like all your mixes. ;)

there's certainly plenty to be enjoyed here. as most likely correctly predicted, I loved the opener, the Mate track, La Casa Azul, Maria Napoleon and those last three for sure. I learned to just be myself from Sunshine Day (Doris' sister?), but my absolute favorite was the Pastel Vespa cover of The Cure. brilliant!

Sorry I missed this earlier, but I was taking a long "siesta." Yes, I would love this -- no doubt. It sucks that I have to share it with Michael and Alex and the other members of Van Halen. They don't deserve it -- but I digress. Best mix yet? That's saying a lot, as you've posted quite a few gems in this lifetime. Long may you run.
